New Sales Manager Drive Technology at Ziehl-Abegg
Oliver Vahsen is now in charge of sales in the drive technology division at Ziehl-Abegg. The graduate engineer has more than ten years of sales experience at the Künzelsau engine builder.
The drive technology at the Hohenlohe-based family company includes electric motors for elevators, computer tomographs and underwater robots. Vahsen has known about these products since 2010; this year he joined the company as Area Sales Manager and looked after customers in the regions of Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. After five years, he moved to Ziehl-Abegg Automotive as Global Account Manager.
Vahsen brings with him two completed apprenticeships: one as a refrigeration system engineer at the Jülich research center and one as an energy electronics technician at RWE. He then completed a degree in supply engineering, specializing in building technology, at the Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences.
