New member of the board of VDMA Robotics + Automation
Dr. Michael Jürgens, CEO of Kuka Robotics, has been appointed to the board of the VDMA trade association.

He succeeds Wilfried Eberhardt, who stepped down from the Management Board for statutory reasons. Dr. Jürgens emphasizes the need to increase the pace of robotics-based automation in Germany and Europe. The increased use of artificial intelligence should promote growth and increase the region's competitiveness. He also sees great potential in the automation of previously less automated industries.
Dr. Jürgens is looking forward to actively promoting these topics on the Executive Board. Wilfried Eberhardt was recently honored at the VDMA European Robotics and Automation Summit in Bologna for his many years of commitment to the trade association and other VDMA committees.
