New IFR Leadership Unveiled

The International Federation of Robotics (IFR) has elected Jane Heffner as its new president

She succeeds Takayuki Ito of Fanuc Corporation and will continue to serve as Global Vice President of Channel Communication at Teradyne Robotics, a provider of collaborative industrial and autonomous mobile robots.

Adrien Brouillard, Executive President of Stäubli’s robotics division, has been appointed Vice President of the IFR, joining the new leadership team. A native of France, he has held various leadership roles at Stäubli for over 15 years, including Global Head of Business for General Industry & Customer Services.

Heffner has more than 20 years of leadership experience in automation, robotics, the automotive industry, and aerospace. Together, Heffner and Brouillard aim to continue the IFR’s work in an environment shaped by the increasing use of artificial intelligence and automation.
