MVTec has included Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. in the MVTec technology partner program. All models of the Mitsubishi Contact Image Sensor (CIS) already use standard interfaces and can therefore be used directly with MVTec's software products. MVTec already has another interface with Mitsubishi's MELSEC PLCs. As part of this strategic partnership, the existing measures will now be bundled under a single roof in order to optimize cooperation and to ensure and further advance the sustainable integration of Mitsubishi products into the MVTec portfolio.

A first highlight of this cooperation will be presented at the Battery Show Europe 2024 in Stuttgart, which will take place from June 18 to 20. Visitors can experience an impressive demo at the MVTec booth (Hall 6, Booth E-09) in which Mitsubishi's CIS sensor is used to inspect a coated electrode foil. At the same time, Mitsubishi Electric will demonstrate the performance of MVTec Halcon at its own booth (Hall 10, Booth H-16). An application for surface inspection of a coated electrode foil including edge detection is shown.
