Lapp Strengthens Its EMEA Leadership
The company is reorganizing its EMEA leadership. Timo Köchel will become COO and assume responsibility for the entire supply chain in the company's largest region.
Lapp is reorganizing its management structure in the EMEA region. Effective October 1, 2026, Timo Köchel will assume the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO) EMEA and will be responsible for production, logistics, and procurement in the company’s largest region. Michael Seddig, who previously held both the CEO and COO roles, will now focus entirely on his role as CEO EMEA.
Köchel has been responsible for Lapp’s global procurement since March 2024. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at industrial companies in Germany and Asia. In his new role, he will assume responsibility for the entire production and logistics network as well as the procurement organization in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
With this new division of responsibilities, Lapp aims to further strengthen the operational management of its supply chain. The close integration of procurement, production, and logistics is intended to help leverage efficiency potential and enhance supply reliability for customers. At the same time, CEO Michael Seddig will have more freedom to focus on the strategic development of the EMEA region.
