This integration closes the "sim-to-real" gap by combining simulations and real applications with an accuracy of up to 99%. The new RobotStudio HyperReality, available from the second half of 2026, promises manufacturers cost savings of up to 40 percent and shortens the time to market for new products by up to 50 percent. Foxconn is already testing the technology in consumer electronics assembly.

The collaboration makes it possible to combine ABB's robotic systems with NVIDIA Omniverse for precise simulations, which increases efficiency in production. The technology enables virtual design and optimization of production lines, reducing set-up times by up to 80 percent. ABB is also exploring the integration of the NVIDIA Jetson edge computing platform to bring real-time AI directly to the robot.
