inspect live on Vision

Being there is everything: The Vision 2018 will open its doors in the Messe Stuttgart from 6 to 8 November. The world's leading trade fair for image processing takes place only every two years - a must for anyone involved with the topic of vision, whether as a researcher, developer, procurer or user, as a manager, investor or simply as an observer of the industry. Of course, the inspect team will also be present on site. Below we give you - in chronological order - an overview of the various events and the stages on which you can experience the inspect once "live".
Panel discussion: The Future of Vision - Are we entering a new era?
The vision industry is changing: Innovative technologies, such as embedded vision, machine or deep learning, 3D vision and hyperspectral imaging, have now reached market maturity and are enabling a rapidly growing number of new applications for image processing. At the same time, vision technologies are increasingly entering non-industrial volume markets - e.g. Security, Mobility, Retail, Smart Home and more. On the one hand, market observers see opportunities for enormous growth potential, but at the same time a threat of commodification. So are we at the beginning of a whole new era? In addition, we want to discuss the vision with experts and insiders from leading companies in the industry. This year's podium discussion within the framework of the Industrial Vision Days will be moderated by Joachim Hachmeister from the editorial department of inspect.
Time: Tuesday, 6.11., 14:00 - 15:00
Location: Stage 1, Hall 1 - Gallery, Stand Z75
inspect award: And the winner is ...
Over half a year, we presented our candidates for the 2019 inspect award and asked for their vote for the most innovative products in the Vision and Automation + Control categories. The vision is finally here: In the framework of a small ceremony at our booth, this year's winners will be presented and the coveted trophies will be awarded. You are cordially invited - come with us to the winners!
Time: Tuesday, 6.11., 16:30 - 17:00
Venue: Wiley booth, foyer east entrance, stand E103
inspect application forum
The inspect application forum is the forum especially for end users on the vision. The aim of this forum is to connect potential users of image processing technologies with their relevant system and solution providers. Various industries and applications and their specific requirements for image processing are in the focus. The inspect application forum will take place during the Industrial Vision Days and will be presented by inspect in cooperation with Messe Stuttgart and the VDMA.
Time: Thursday, 8.11., 9:30 - 13:30
Location: Stage 2, Hall 1, Stand A75
Integration Area
Are you looking for system integrators and solution providers for industrial image processing with specific know-how for your applications? Then you will find them in the thematically delimited Vision Integration Area, traditionally sponsored by inspect. Just follow the yellow carpet in Hall 1 and meet the following exhibitors: Attentra, Compar, Cosynth, GBS, Gedonsoft, Gefasoft, In-situ, RH Engineering and Vision Kronemeyer.
