IIZ expanded at Motek/Bondexpo 2026
In 2026, the Industrial Interactive Zone will be expanded as a central attraction at Motek, the trade fair for production and assembly automation, and Bondexpo for bonding technology, which takes place at the same time
Under the motto "Man - Machine - Together", a limited number of automation teams will be demonstrating complete, integrated system concepts in Hall 6. The aim is to make process integration, fast commissioning, flexible format changes and short set-up times directly tangible.
As part of a competition, machine builders, special machine builders, system integrators and automation specialists take on the role of general contractor and work together with partners to complete a given task. This initially involves robot-based picking and palletizing of various small parts into assemblies, followed by a product changeover to handling and depositing spherical objects. In addition to the time required, the test evaluates the degree of integration, flexibility, adaptability and intuitive operation without in-depth knowledge of robotics.
