HMS Networks takes over Industrial Communications division from Molex
This strategic acquisition includes intellectual property in hardware and software, a product portfolio with network cards and software stacks, as well as customer relationships in the USA and Japan

Development sites in Canada and France, as well as the company Woodhead Software & Electronics S.A.S.U., are also part of the acquisition.
Bartek Candell, Senior Vice President at HMS Networks, emphasizes the synergies between Molex's network cards and the existing HMS portfolio. This acquisition allows Molex to focus on its core business while HMS strengthens its position in industrial networking technologies.
Dave Atkinson of Molex sees HMS as an ideal partner to continue serving its industrial communications customers. The acquisition is expected to generate over $10 million in annual sales and expand HMS' customer base in North America. The purchase price is $7 million and the transaction is expected to close in January 2026. The financial impact on HMS is expected to be limited.
