Heitec takes over Artschwager + Kohl
Through the acquisition, the company aims to expand its range of warehouse logistics solutions and open up new market segments
In January 2026, the Heitec Group acquired Artschwager + Kohl Software GmbH, a company based in Herzogenaurach, Germany. This acquisition expands Heitec's portfolio in the field of intralogistics and strengthens its position as a specialist in automation and digitalization. The acquisition will enable Heitec to expand its range of warehouse logistics solutions and tap into new market segments.
Michael Frieß, CEO of Heitec AG, emphasizes that the combination of Heitec's automation and digitalization expertise with Artschwager + Kohl's software creates unique solutions in the intralogistics sector. The decision is based on more than ten years of successful cooperation between the two companies and a generational change at Artschwager + Kohl. Jürgen Kohl, former Managing Director of Artschwager + Kohl, will in future head the "Intralogistics" sector management at Heitec and oversee the integration.
