Global machine vision market set to grow to 8.3 billion dollars by 2030
According to a recent report by Interact Analysis, the machine vision industry has exceeded expectations with growth of 5.2 percent in 2025

Average annual growth of 7.2% is forecast for the period from 2025 to 2030, which means the market will grow from USD 5.9 billion to USD 8.3 billion. The main drivers are advances in 3D cameras and image processing software as well as applications in autonomous driving and bin picking, which place higher demands on precision and inspection quality.
Regionally, Apac (excluding Japan) remains the largest and fastest growing market with annual growth of 8.1%. Emea only grew by 0.8% in 2025, but performed better than expected and is expected to overtake Japan by 2030 with an average of 6.7% per year. In terms of sectors, logistics will be the most dynamic segment at 12.7% per year, driven by automation in warehousing, sorting and distribution. Despite this dynamic, electronics and electrical engineering will remain the highest-volume application area for machine vision. Tariffs have only had a limited impact on demand so far.
