Fisba appoints Dr. Martin Forrer as CTO

In this role, Forrer will lead project execution for customer and development initiatives and ensure that R&D efforts meet market demands.

Fisba has appointed Dr. Martin Forrer as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Head of Development. In this key role, Forrer will lead project execution for customer and development initiatives and ensure that Fisba's R&D efforts meet market demands. Forrer, who has been with Fisba for 28 years, has previously served as CTO and will continue as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

CEO Markus Hersche praises Forrer's technical expertise, which will help Fisba deliver innovative photonic solutions. Forrer holds degrees in physics and technology entrepreneurship as well as an Executive MBA. He is a member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences and an expert at Innosuisse. FISBA thanks Dr. Guido Bonati for his valuable contributions and wishes him success in his new position. Fisba specializes in optical systems and has subsidiaries in Germany, the USA and China.
