Geray completed his training with the grade "very good" and shortened the regular training period by one year. He was already involved in promoting young talent during his training by supporting internal theory units. Geray had originally studied for a degree, but opted for a practice-oriented apprenticeship to deepen his technical skills.

Excelitas set up a training workshop in 2022 to offer trainees the best possible conditions. The company is currently training 11 apprentices in various professions in Göttingen. Madelene Rust, Head of Human Resources, emphasizes the importance of training for securing skilled workers and sees Geray's award as confirmation of Excelitas' training strategy. Excelitas employs a total of 48 trainees and 12 dual students in Germany.
