Evosys Relocates Its Core IT Infrastructure to a Data Center in Nuremberg
The migration has been underway since late 2025 and is now complete. At the same time, Evosys is preparing its facility for ISO/IEC 27001 certification.

Evosys Laser has relocated its central IT infrastructure from its corporate headquarters to a data center in Nuremberg. Going forward, central servers, enterprise applications, and IT services will be operated there. According to the company, its previous capacity was no longer sufficient to meet rising demands and support planned growth. The migration has been carried out in stages since the end of 2025 while business operations continued. As part of the move, Evosys also reviewed and revised parts of its existing IT infrastructure. Cloud services will continue to be used in parallel with the data center.
With this move, the company gains access to an infrastructure featuring controlled access, power supply, climate control, and appropriate network connectivity. Evosys does not specify in its announcement which data center it is using or what specific certifications the provider holds. At the same time, Evosys is working on its information security strategy. The company’s information security management system at its headquarters is currently being prepared for ISO/IEC 27001 certification. This standard defines requirements for an information security management system.
The move is therefore not merely an expansion of technical capacity. Evosys is linking it to a reorganization of its IT structures and the establishment of a systematic information security management system.
