The seventh European Machine Vision Forum will take place from 7 to 8 November in Mulhouse, France. The Forum is an annual event of the European Machine Vision Association - EMVA. It aims to promote interaction between the machine vision industry and academic research in order to learn from each other, discuss the latest research results and application problems, learn about new application fields and discuss research collaborations between industry and academic institutes. The overall goal is to accelerate innovation by translating new research results into practice more quickly.

The Forum is aimed at scientists, development engineers, software and hardware engineers and programmers from research and industry. There, visitors can expect plenary sessions with carefully selected papers and invited talks presenting a wide range of a focused forum topic, extensive coffee and lunch breaks and evening get-togethers for networking. There will also be teaser sessions for poster presentations and hardware and software demonstrations with plenty of room for small group discussions. Each participant can submit papers and posters free of charge and also show demos (opportunities for table exhibitions).

More about the event and the link to register can be found here.
