Efficient and high-precision single SAC optics

Ingeneric expands its product portfolio with components for a wide range of requirements

The slow-axis collimation optics is a highly efficient means of forming the beam in the slow-axis of diode lasers. It is available either as a monolithic array of cylindrical lenses or as a single lens for single emitter collimation. The aspheric design of the optics guarantees an efficient collimation of the light. In addition, the precise centering of the lens and the low wedge error mean that the performance of the fast axis is not affected.

All optics are manufactured from high quality optical glass, and custom requirements for length or support structures can be customized. Ingeneric develops and manufactures optical components for high-power applications as well as optical systems for research, medicine, metrology, and various industries. Ingeneric was founded in 2001 and today employs around a hundred staff.

In 2019, Ingeneric merged with Aixtooling, a tool manufacturer for precision optics. Ingeneric offers the complete process chain worldwide, from lens and system design, prototype, and small series production to mass production.

Fast- and slow-axis collimation, collimation modules, beam transformation optics, microlens arrays, aspheres, acylinders and freeform optics are manufactured. The company has become a leading supplier of beam shaping optics for semiconductor lasers. The high precision microlenses are used in growth markets such as medical technology (endoscopy) and optical data communication. (Source: Ingeneric)
