Contrinex Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Contrinex celebrates its 50th anniversary. Since its foundation in 1972, the Swiss company has developed numerous sensor solutions for factory automation.

The foundation for the company's success was laid by inductive sensors with 3 or 4 times the standard switching distances. In the late 1990s, company founder Peter Heimlicher focused on the digitalisation of his products. The Contrinex-Asic for standard inductive sensors made it possible to build a scalable, highly efficient technology platform. In addition, Contrinex developed smart sensors specially designed for OEMs and system integrators. They are suitable for high-resolution direct and indirect multimode measurements and can be used in predictive maintenance, production monitoring or process control.
