Automation Technology expands management team
Alice Travers becomes Chief Financial Officer
The hiring of Alice Travers as CFO as of November 1, 2021, Automation Technology (AT) aims to develop strategically - also with regard to necessary discussions with banks, auditors and investors. Travers has a degree in business administration and has already worked in leading positions in the area of finance for several companies in recent years.
For the past four years, the Hamburg native has been CFO for Harder & Steenbeck (manufacturer of airbrush equipment and accessories), and before that she was responsible for the financial area of the Neumann Kaffee Group for several years as a member of the management board. Prior to that, Travers worked in accounting and controlling at APL Logistics Deutschland for a long period of time.
First CFO tasks: improving processes
Now she wants to be involved in the further development of Automation Technology and optimize processes. "For me, it is very appealing to uncover new growth opportunities for AT through my work and to be actively involved in the further development of the strategy. My role as CFO means that I can act as a competent sparring partner for the management team led by André Kasper and Michael Wandelt. What's more, AT has the same initials as my name, so it had to be a coincidence."
At Automation Technology, the North German will now first introduce a new ERP system and work together with her new team to improve structures and make them leaner.
