Atlas Copo can take over Isra Vision
Authorities approve purchase of 92.2 percent of the shares of the provider of 3D imaging solutions
Atlas Copco is allowed to acquire Isra Vision, supplier of surface inspection and 3D imaging solutions. The transaction became public at the beginning of the year. The last outstanding regulatory approval was granted by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) on June 11, 2020.
According to this, the Swedish group may now purchase 92.19 percent of Isra Vision's shares at a unit price of 50 euros. The German company will become a new division within the Industrial Technique Division and will continue to operate independently from its headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. The CEO of Isra Vision will remain at the helm of the machine vision company for at least another year. He will coordinate the transition.
Atlas Copco has its headquarters in Stockholm. The company has customers in over 180 countries and employs approximately 39,000 people. Sales in 2019 were 104 billion Swedish kroner (approximately 10 billion euros).
