Panos brings over 15 years of research and development experience with a proven track record in imaging and engineering, having spent the first few years of his career as an R&D Engineer, before becoming an engineering manager in production and development at Photek Ltd. Since then, Panos moved into a commercial role with focus on growth, distribution management and exportation, dealing with space science, life science, high energy physics, defense, academic research and OEM applications in domestic, European, US and Asian markets.

The appointment of Pedro Matos also was made due to the considerable growth the company has seen in the last two years and the subsequent scaling up of production volumes to meet the needs of the expanding customer base, particularly into the scientific and OEM markets. He will oversee production and logistics operations at the Portuguese production facility of Atik Cameras. Pedro spent twenty years serving the automotive industry as a Purchasing Manager where he gained extensive exposure to logistics, purchasing, quality control and process engineering.
