AMD extends production of Spartan 6

AMD has extended support for Spartan 6 FPGAs until at least 2030. All speed and temperature degrees are included.

The commitment to supporting long product life cycles is taken very seriously, according to a company spokesman. Following recent supply chain challenges across the industry, AMD has been working to normalize delivery times so customers can have confidence in the supply chain. With this formal commitment, AMD wants to give its customers confidence in the availability of the products.
