Adcole now manufactures complete shaft measuring machines in Recklinghausen. At the European Engineering Center, which has been implementing custom modifications for European engine and vehicle manufacturers for over 50 years, a new production area was set up within six months. The first high-performance 1100-S shaft measuring machine manufactured in Germany was shipped to China.
Under the leadership of Production Manager Yannik Trappmann, manufacturing processes, warehousing, and logistics were restructured. Adcole is increasingly relying on local suppliers to make supply chains more robust and less dependent on geopolitical and customs-related risks. At the same time, customization—including software development—remains a core business area: In Recklinghausen, measurement programs are configured to customer specifications, and machines undergo pre-delivery acceptance testing. The service team in Shanghai handles commissioning and training at the Chinese end customer’s site.
