2D/3D Vision System for Robots
Deployed in weeks not months, the system uses Zebra FS40 & FS42 industrial scanners and Photoneo Motioncam-3D cameras for real-time, high-resolution barcode, ID, and 3D point-cloud data capture.

With a new 2D/3D vision system, Zebra demonstrates how robot-assisted automation solutions can be deployed productively in a very short time. Instead of months-long project phases, the systems are up and running within a few weeks. This is made possible by the Zebra FS40 and FS42 industrial scanners, as well as Photoneos’ Motioncam-3D, which capture high-resolution barcode, ID, and 3D point cloud data in real time.
The intelligence comes from Photoneos Anypick AI, which processes all data directly on the device—without a cloud connection. Together with the operating system from Rebl Industries, the Workmate robots gain the ability to reliably recognize objects, determine their position and dimensions, and immediately decide how to handle them. The system handles changing items, inconsistent packaging, and unpredictable goods locations, as are typical in real-world logistics environments.
These advantages really shine in high-throughput applications: Rebl achieves throughput rates of 800 to 1,000 picks per hour with an accuracy of over 99.7 percent. At the same time, the AI-based approach improves reliability, as each robot learns from the experiences of the networked fleet and continuously fine-tunes its algorithms. This enables the creation of flexible, scalable, and autonomous robotics in everyday warehouse operations.
