Technology for „Zero-Error-Production“

With the inos BestFit procedure – in cooperation with Nothelfer – an assembly technology that enables perfect fit assembly of components through sensorcontrolled robots in auto production is available. BestFit is a flexible procedure and can be used in the assembly of various components even with changing vehicle models. The modular inos BestFit concept is based on a sensitive robot, which measures both the component as well as the dimensions of the body through optic measuring sensors. Based on this information it determines the best door position with regard to the joining gap. This process achieves the best possible fit for each individual assembly process, and production tolerances can be optimally met. The inos BestFit procedure is resistant against environmental influences such as temperature, ambient lighting etc.
