New version of Merlic
MVTec has introduced the new version 5.8 of its Merlic machine vision software.
This enables users without programming knowledge to solve complex image processing tasks intuitively. Merlic 5.8 places a strategic focus on improving process reliability and workflows. New functions, such as enhanced error detection in the Image Source Manager, increase the reliability of image processing by monitoring trigger signals and connection interruptions.
The improved recipe management offers a clear presentation of central recipe information and makes it easier to set up and manage applications. A new communication plug-in for the Siemens IE Databus enables seamless connection to the Siemens Industrial Edge platform. In addition, the remote connection of Merlic frontends has been simplified, which speeds up the setup and management of distributed applications.
