Sony ISS: New 4K Autofocus Camera Block

Sony Europe’s Image Sensing Solutions division introduced a new 4K autofocus camera block, the FCB-ER8300.

Powered by Exmor R CMOS sensor technology, and capable of 20x zoom with true 4K resolution, the FCB-ER8300 harnesses the advanced 4K technology Sony has developed, and makes it accessible to industrial markets and applications.

Matt Swinney of Sony said: “The FCB-ER8300 marks a new era of 4k technology for industrial cameras. Sony delivers this technology within a complete camera block, which ensures superb image quality whilst being specifically designed for integration into finished security solutions.”
