Software determines power requirements of I/O modules

A new function in the B&R Automation Studio software enables the developer to optimize the number and position of the supply modules in an early design phase. In this way, the machine can later be put into operation quickly and smoothly.

The new power supply optimization feature is integrated into the Hardware Configuration Analyzer in Automation Studio. If there are modules that would be undersupplied in the currently planned configuration, these will be highlighted. The new function can also be used in existing projects. All you have to do is update the firmware version of the I/O modules.
