Simulation software ensures a longer service life

 In order to better understand local loads and the resulting damage, August Steinmeyer has been using the simulation software from Meshparts for several years. In this way, the manufacturer can optimize its heavy-duty ball screw drives on a model basis. 

Adjustments can now be made to the gradient, the ball size, the arrangement of the deflection cables and other structural details in order to achieve a better load distribution on the spindle and a reduction in the rolling stress. This significantly increases the service life of the ball screw drives in the heavy-duty range.
