Sensor for measurements in motion control systems

This makes movement measurements possible with the help of magnetic rings of almost unlimited size and magnetic tapes. In this way, the magnetic pattern of a magnetic ring can be adapted to individual shaft sizes and the resulting circumference of the magnetic ring. This applies both to magnetic rings with shaft diameters of more than 6 m and to very long linear applications with measuring lengths of up to 19.3 m. The fast and reliable scanning circuit enables position feedback via BiSS-C and SSI interface as well as additional speed feedback via Sine/cosine signals. With operating speeds of up to 20 m/s, resolutions of up to 0.29 µm and a fast position update of 15 µs, this sensor is a solution for high demands when measuring speed.
