Robust solutions for construction machinery
Housing bearings, for example, can be adapted to the respective area of application through various measures: With a so-called cap housing, protective caps (SM series) made of sheet metal or robust cast covers (CM series) are used, which effect an even more effective sealing of the rolling bearings. They are available “open” for a continuous shaft or “closed” for a shaft stub.
Cast steel housings made from EN-GJS-450-10 are suitable for high loads. Burnished bearing inserts from the ABEG Supra performance class offer inexpensive but extensive corrosion protection. Last but not least, the patented "Bullet Point Set Srew" from the manufacturer FYH prevents elliptical deformation when the bearing inner rings are tightened, reduces imbalances and extends the service life.
