Printing Company receives fourth print inspection system from Vision Experts

It is extremely important that the production of package leaflets is error-free, which is why De Melle has already in 2007 invested in an offline PDF inspection system with B3 scanner for print control against PDFs and print approval of sheets. They also purchased the first Vision Expert 4000 PHARMA inspection system for 100% control, including PDF comparison, for a ‘Müller Martini Alprinta 74', which was a worldwide novelty at that time. In 2009, a third system followed: a ‘Drent Vision offset machine' also equipped with Vision Expert 4000 PHARMA. "This time, a Man Roland 700 with 10 colors and single/double coater has been equipped with an inspection system for package leaflets by Vision Experts," said Hans-Hermann Bibel, managing director of Vision Experts. "Originally, we didn't expect to get this order at all, as since the delivery in mid-2008, the Man Roland 700 was factory-equipped with a camera system from another manufacturer. Yet, it turned out that De Melle's requirements, particularly the mandatory inline PDF comparison, could only be met by the Vision Experts systems. Now, the third-party equipment will be replaced by the proven solution and De Melle will receive the fourth system
from Vision Experts."
