Precise scanning of manufactured materials

The non-contact system provides surface characterization and evaluation of multilayer, textured, mixed and other fabricated materials. The system is CE and FCC certified.

Photon uses LMI's confocal line and laser profile sensor technology to scan these surfaces with sub-micron precision. The system uses high-precision encoders, vibration-free motion, and automated assembly software to scan challenging materials - with large fields of view - in a variety of offline and at-line inspection, laboratory, and R&D processes.
