This removes the need for internal PCIe frame grabbers and supports compact platforms such as laptops, embedded systems, and single‑board computers for portable, space‑constrained designs. As machine vision demands higher resolutions, faster frame rates, and multi‑camera setups, traditional GigE Vision hosts struggle at 5–10 Gbps. iPORT GEV-TB uses a DMA engine to move image data directly into host memory and manage resends, reducing CPU load.
