Multi-element tube system

Photo

Edmund Optics now offers the new Techspec multi-element tube system. It works as a complete system by combining multi-element outer tubes with multi-element inner single-optic holders and multi-element inner pair optic holders. The outer tubes have M29 threads running the full length; the inner single and inner pair optics mounts have M29 male threads so they can be placed anywhere within an outer tube. With this construction, the optical distance is infinitely adjustable along the optical axis. To facilitate the adjustment, Edmund Optics also offers a specially developed multi-element adjustable wrench with a hollow bore, which lets the light beam through during the adjustment.

The multi-element tube system can also be customized: the use of multi-element spacer rings and tubes allows precise definition of the optical distance, multi-element internal apertures are used to control the internal beam diameter and the additional available Multi-element tube system accessory supports the interconnection of systems with each other and allows further uses of the system.
