LED-Colour Selectable Light Source

With the new series of Intralux LED light sources, Volpi is introducing an alternative to halogen light sources with a family of LED light sources for fiberoptic applications. The high light intensity is generated by 21 W in the 2100 and 35 W in the 3500 model. The 21 W light source will be introduced in both white and blue 460 nm versions. The LED 2100 is available in either 12 VDC or 24 VDC versions equipped with an external universal Power supply (100–240 V 50/60 Hz). The LED 3500 is only available in 24 VDC. Other than with halogen light sources the technology is able to strobe and the intensity can be changed without effecting the colour temperature.
