IDS: USB 3 uEye CP camera now shipping
IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH has started the serial production of the USB 3 uEye CP camera series with six different models. Resolutions range from Wide VGA to 5 Megapixel, with new high performance and high resolution sensors up to 10 Megapixel coming in the second half of 2012. Additionally, the cameras offer a range of great and useful features. The superfast USB 3.0 interface offers data transfer rates of up to 400 MByte per second, which is 10 times USB 2.0, 5 times Firewire 800 and 3.5 times GigE speed.
The high performance cameras are well suited for a great variety of applications, particularly for 3D imaging within process automation, bodywork inspection, medical engineering, robotics or logistics.
Users of the new USB 3 uEye CP camera series also benefit from excellent image quality, high frame rates and the well-known ease of use of the uEye SDK.
