Homogeneous laser ring without rotating parts

The component was developed in close cooperation with MSG Maschinenbau and allows, for example, detailed 3D models of the inside of the pipe, on which irregularities of up to 50 µm can be identified. Its fine ring-shaped beam has a homogeneity of 80 percent and achieves an output power of 50 mW at a wavelength of 660 nm. To do this, the laser light is directed onto a conical mirror and reflected there evenly at an angle of 360°. The space-saving laser module does not have any rotating elements that would make it susceptible to malfunctions. Depending on the customer's application, the focus of the laser line is individually adjusted by the manufacturer.
