The C16449MA 01 (190–1100 nm, 1 nm resolution) and C16449MA 02 (200–600 nm, 0.45 nm resolution) models are polychromator modules with integrated optics, a CMOS image sensor, and driver circuitry, offering high spectral precision. Their compact design and USB power supply allow for easy integration.

Spectral range and resolution are optionally adjustable. A trigger function enables short pulse measurements. Potential applications include layer thickness measurement, LIBS, and color and gas analysis. Hamamatsu provides users with free evaluation software, open DLL specifications, and comprehensive integration support.
