Fast 4K frame grabber for image analysis

Frame grabbers, the name of which derives from their original function of scanning the individual images of an analogue video signal (frames) and converting them into digital images, are now more appropriately referred to as protocol converters. With the support of HDMI 2.0, the single-channel PCIe-HDV72 plug-in card offers a high standard and can therefore reduce the TCO, especially for applications in which a high-performance video and audio source is to be recorded and evaluated, for example in material testing, production monitoring or the medical imaging. Features include hardware color space conversion, support for RGB up to 36-bit and YUV 444/422/420, and High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 2.2. The audio decoder supports sampling rates from 32 to 44.1 to 192 kHz with 16, 20 and 24 bits. With the optional software ViewCreatorPro (Windows) from the same manufacturer, applications for configuration, test and debugging can be efficiently created.
