This upgrade aids service providers and maintenance teams in optimizing workflows across multiple sites, remote inspections, and utility applications. With GPS, each acoustic image captured by the Si2 Series now includes spatial geo-metadata, seamlessly connecting with Flir Acoustic Viewer or Flir Thermal Studio software. This allows inspection teams to organize, visualize, and document results by exact location, improving traceability and compliance across facilities.

Key benefits include automatic geotagging for accurate mapping and reporting, optimized multi-site inspections ideal for large, distributed facilities, and improved data integration for asset management. The Si2 Series maintains its leading acoustic performance and intuitive design. The GPS enhancement applies to all Si2 models but is not available as a firmware upgrade for existing cameras.
