The C-Mount lenses were optimized for the specific requirements of these systems and deliver an optimal balance between performance, simplicity, and value. The adjustable iris from f/4 to f/16 enables precise light control and supports the large depth of field often required in warehouse and inspection environments.
To ensure cost efficiency, the compact lens housing uses a simplified mechanical design without internal focusing groups ─ focus is set by threading the lens in and out of the camera mount and is secured with a locking ring. Designed for sensor formats up to 2/3 in, the E Series’ application-tuned design ensures users get the right level of performance for their logistics & barcode scanning application, while keeping overall system costs down.
