The RTR500B series is also compatible with HTTPS, an encrypted communication protocol that guarantees the highest level of security. The range of wireless communication between the base station and the paired units can be up to 150 meters. The range can be easily extended using repeaters, which means that larger building complexes can also be well covered. 

The devices of the new RTR500B series are compatible with the earlier RTR 500 series, but also have a Bluetooth function. The RTR500B series is supplemented by updated base stations that enable wireless or wired transmission of the measurement data to a PC.
