Compact light source with integrated camera mount
The LED lighting manufacturer announces the launch of the JWL150 from the Camera-to-Light (CTL) series. JWL150 is compatible with most popular machine vision cameras and can be connected and controlled directly to the camera's trigger output.
The IP65-rated brightfield light features a working distance of 500 mm up to 2000 mm, 10-, 14- and 30-degree lens options, and integrated multi-drive technology that offers both continuous operation and overdrive modes. In continuous mode, the JWL150 can provide constant light or be triggered according to the camera's exposure signal. OverDrive mode features up to 6x continuous light output with low latency and fast strobe durations of up to 10 mS.
JWL150 features a batwing design that can be easily combined with polarizers, diffusers and other optical elements that have lower light output. The illumination system is suitable for various machine vision applications, especially high-speed conveyor systems that require bright illumination at long distances.
