Chromasens: Corona II LED System for High-speed Web and Linescan Machine Vision

Chromasens’ thermal management systems, available in its Corona II LED linescan light, precisely control LED temperature by intelligent cooling in a narrow range of less than 2° Kelvin while emitting up to 3.5 million lumens uniformly across its width. As a result, the Corona II will safely maintain a specific color temperature and minimize heat to increase LED service life.
Chromasens offers three passive options for heat dissipation, along with active fan and water cooling for its Corona II, all designed to suit specific installation conditions and light output requirements. By deploying the optional Chromasens LED controller, it is possible to stabilize temperature in a range of ± 1° Kelvin with water cooling, or ± 2° Kelvin with fan-based cooling. For further protection, the Corona II features heat sinks, along with automatic current limitation that activates in the event overheating is detected.
The Corona II focuses its emitted LED light using patented mirror technology that perfectly shapes it for outstanding distribution homogeneity. Thanks to the use of the mirror, there are also no chromatic aberrations. Just a single LED selection class means there are no measurable deviations in terms of color within the illumination line.
The Corona II is available in standard lengths of 180 mm, 350 mm, 520 mm, and 690 mm in all relevant light colors (R, G, B, and white) as well as with focus lengths of 60 mm, 95 mm, and 190 mm. Its illumination modules can be employed as often as required without affecting the light homogeneity.
