Certified CANopen FD compliance for I/O product

The device firmware is based on the Micro CANopen Plus protocol stack from the partner Embedded Systems Academy (EmSA), which means that the device passed the conformity tests without any problems.

The device is one of the first industrial standard I/O devices to offer both conformance-tested CANopen and CANopen FD interfaces. The configuration is simplified, the settings are made using 4 rotary controls that are documented directly on the housing. The use of additional configuration software is not required.

All other products from the PCAN-MicroMod-FD series can optionally load the Micro-CANopen-Plus protocol stack. Additional I/O modules in the aluminum housing support analog inputs and outputs as well as PWM or frequency outputs. There is also a system-on-module (SoM) solution for integrating customer-specific I/Os with the operating modes CAN/CAN FD, CANopen and CANopen FD.
