Capacitive measuring system for long signal paths

Unlike conventional capacitive sensors, the preamplifier is integrated into the sensor in the new active sensors. As a result, changes in capacitance in the cable have hardly any effect on the measurement signal. This offers advantages in terms of freedom of movement and enables cables to be routed with drag chains and on robot arms. In addition, cable lengths of up to 15 m can be implemented.

The active flat sensor is constructed with a ceramic sensor element and impresses with its compact and robust design. The sensor is used, among other things, in mechanical engineering as well as in robot and semiconductor production.
