Basler Expands 3D-Portfolio with Stereo Cameras

The five model variants are available in base distances of 65 and 160 mm, each in monochrome and colour versions. All cameras have a pre-installed, modular software package suitable for robotics applications. Onboard processing means that the cameras do not require external computers. The software package, which is already installed on the camera, contains six modules that are adapted to different robotics applications and can be individually selected. For this expansion, the company is working with Roboception, Munich, a specialist for hardware and software in the field of 3D-sensor-technology.
