Additional Focal Lengths for Ultra-Compact Lens Series

Kowa’s optical designers designed the lenses with a maximum length of 27 mm and a weight of 55 g. This makes the lenses suitable for use in smart and stereo cameras where space in the camera body is limited.

The JC5MC series is optimised for 5 MP cameras with a chip size of 2/3 inch and a pixel size of 3.45 μm. This makes them suitable for Sony's IMX250, IMX252, IMX264, IMX265 sensors.

The click-iris function and compact design also make the lens series more shock and vibration resistant than conventional industrial lenses. In addition, the series has good transmission from the visible to the near infrared range.
