3D measurement software platform with cloud licensing system

The 10th version of the platform from Creaform, a division of Ametek, is now an integrated 3D measurement software platform that includes multiple acquisition and application modules with VXscan, VXprobe, VXshot, VXmodel, VXtrack, VXinspect and VXscan-R.

A cloud licensing system has been implemented to make it easier for users in a company to share licences. Furthermore, the VXscan 3D software module shows improvements in merging scans. The scan-to-CAD software module VXmodel now has a flexible object editing tool and a cross-section function. For added flexibility, the VXinspect software module allows end users to import and use multiple CAD models in VXinspect. Finally, the VXscan-R module streamlines the use of scan cells using collaborative robots.
