ZVEI calls for simplification of the CRA

She warns that overly complex regulation could lead to problems and emphasizes the need for coherent cybersecurity regulations. Bäumchen criticizes the fact that expected simplification measures, such as in the digital omnibus, have so far failed to materialize. Substantial simplifications are needed, particularly in the CRA, in order to avoid supply chain disruptions and a weakening of the European production environment. The ZVEI has already formulated corresponding adjustment proposals.
